Is using a self-waxing kit as safe and effective as going to a salon?

I'm referring to bikini waxing kits... not so much legs/arms.


I don't want to hurt myself, but I don't yet feel comfortable enough to go to a salon.Is using a self-waxing kit as safe and effective as going to a salon?
I do bikini waxing at home. I haven't had any problems except for some ingrown hairs, which are pretty easy to get rid of--and no, I don't think it's painful. It works a lot better than shaving does for me, since my skin is so sensitive, and the hair gets thinner with time.Is using a self-waxing kit as safe and effective as going to a salon?
it is as safe but not as effective if you are not experienced.


I'd go to a salon for the first time just to see how it's done correctly before trying on my own.


Again, it won't hurt you, but chances are you won't be able to do a very good job.
they are perfectly safe to use providing you read the instructions and arnt elergic to any products





dont worry about feeling uncomfortable going to a salon i work in one as have had many people come infor their first bikin wax and its went fine just be pleased your not at our end we get old women and men coming in for hollywoods !!
