Bad waxing at a salon...what would you do?

I went to the same woman for 2 years for my eyebrow waxing, but she recently moved. So I got my brows waxed by the new girl. All I wanted was to have them cleaned up, but she reshaped them. I told her I was happy with the shape my brows already had, and was very unhappy that she just went ahead and changed them. When I got to the front desk my stylist was up there, so I told her what happened and that I was upset. She told her manager, and the manager apologized and offered to fix the situation. I told her that I didn't want anything from her. My brows were already ruined how was she going to fix that?!

What would you have done in my situation??

And if you work in a salon how do you ';fix'; that kind of situation?Bad waxing at a salon...what would you do?
You did the right thing!

You should get your next wax free because ur a good client and not some newbie trying to get something free.

I owned a tanning and spa for 7 years and I would give you a free service next time and maybe a free lip wax.

Call and make sure you get it free (I know its only 10$) and ask to NEVER have that girl again!!!

The manager did the right thing, unfortunatly you have to wait for them to grow back in. I hope you didnt tip?Bad waxing at a salon...what would you do?
Demand your money back for a service rendered incorrectly and make sure to make an appointment for a different person next time or to find a new place.

There is not much more that you can do after you have alerted them to a situation besides doing the exact same thing again.

The squeeky wheel gets the grease.
The best thing to do is of course not tip her. It her fault she didn't follow directions. And if I was the manager I wouldn't have tell you still have to pay for the service (on the house). Also, if you decide to go back to that salon, make sure that girl don't touch any part of your body again.
go to a different place (:
