Waxing body hair--best to do it at salon, or do it yourself with an at-home kit?

For best results, it's better to have it done by a professional, but for health reasons, you should bring your own tools. You can get a bad reaction like dryness, itching, or fungus- nothing you would want could occur if the tools are not cleaned properly. I do it myself. Just make sure to pull you skin very tight when you pull off the strips or it will hurt soooooooooooooo bad.
If I were you I would go to the salon if you can afford it. It can be pretty pricey at some places. You can do it at home but it can be pretty messy. I would not use the ';nair'; brand wax. Didnt work for me. I think the one I use is called Gigi honey wax. It comes in a metal container that you heat up in a pan of boiling water. It sounds complicated but its not. Just messy. There are also some that you can heat up in the microwave.Beware of the Sally's brand in the blue container. I used that one and it actually ripped some of my skin off. OUCH!! Good luck!
depends. on how much of yourself you want other people to see. i say salon for the most part. they have to be lisenced
Better do get it proffessionally done at a salon, they do a thorough and clean job.
Think about this... Just go to E-Bay and pick up a Laser Hair Remover for about $100 and you will never have to mess with it again!!!
Get it done at a slaon because something could go rong if you do it yourself..so get it done professionaly if you do, do it.

You can do it home, but you should go to a store that sells salon products. You can usually get a package of (3) bottles of wax for about ten dollars. The strips that they see are a little bit more expensive, but you can use ribbon and it works just as good as the strips.
